Our Story

He pulled up in a giant huge jeep and knocked at the front door. It was the first time I had ever met him in person. My mom casually walked to the front door to see who was picking me up. She greeted him and we began to walk off. She giggled and said to him, "See ya... well actually probably won't see you again". I turned to her and gave her the he's just a friend look. I tried to pretend it wasn't hard for me to get up in his Jurassic Park looking Jeep. I looked around and smiled when I made it inside. He blared a country song with a rock edge to it. He could tell I was a country music kinda girl. We went to his friends house. I didn't really feel much for him, I was just eager to meet new people in Texas. Rock Band had just come out and he wanted to play with all his buddies. He sat at drums and they began to play. At least he has rhythm, I thought. Then they started a movie. I sneaked to one side of the couch, a move I learned early in the game. He kept asking if I was cold. I was freezing but quickly replied NO. He asked again. I said no. Then that shy boy snuck his arm around me. Um hello, I don't let no boys make moves like that on the first date, let alone hang out. It felt good though. It was winter time. After the movie was over, he drove me home. He took the longest way possible and stopped at every stop sign completely... like the car shifted back kinda stop. My favorite song came on and I sang to it and looked over at him... he was looking over at me like I can't believe this girl is singing. He pulled in my driveway...and said a few pointless words and Kissed me! AGh. I don't kiss on the first date.

Well. Good thing I did. We were married the other day!
